The Lions are taking a little time to learn their new offense and defense and it’s been showing on the field of play.  The Lions are running well averaging 103.5 yards rushing, and 4.4 yards per carry.  The passing game is coming along slowly, due to a lack of talent at receiver.  The Lions are only averaging 163.0 yards passing per game and completing only 51.7% of their passes.

The defense is getting pushed around a little bit.  The Lions are allowing 132.0 yards per game on the ground and 4.2 yards per carry.  The pass defense is getting roughed up to the tune of 210.0 yards per game and a 69.0% completion rate. 

These numbers need to change soon if the Lions are gonna improve this season.
