Finally the offense showed some life against the Packers defense. Jon Kitna had a pretty good game except for one pass……an interception that was a pick-six.  Kitna completed 25 of 40 passes for 342 yards with 2 TDs and an INT.  RB Kevin Jones had his first good game of the season rushing 17 times for 81 yards and a TD, he also caught 5 passes for 44 yards.  WR Roy Williams also had a huge game catching 7 passes for 138 yards and a TD.

Brett Favre rolled thru the Lions defense like a hot knife thru butter.  The Packers completed 25 of 36 passes for 340 yards and threw 3 TDs.  The Lions run defense played tough holding the Packers to 60 yards on 27 carries (2.2 ypc).  Rookie linebacker Ernie Sims had 10 tackles and defensed a pass.

The Lions still have alot of work to do.
