The Lions offensive players acted like they dipped their hands in Crisco before the game.  Jon Kitna completed 19 of 30 passes for 202 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT.  Kitna also carried the ball 4 times for 27 yards and lost a fumble.  Kevin Jones carried the ball 13 times for 44 yards (3.4 ypc) and caught 9 passes for 71 yards, but he also lost a fumble.  Roy Williams caught 5 passes for 81 yards, but he also lost a fumble.  TE Dan Campbell caught 2 passes for 32 yards and a TD. 

The safeties for the Lions were making alot of tackles and that’s usually bad news for a defense.  Kenoy Kennedy (14 tackles) and Terrence Holt (10 tackles) led the way for the Lions.  DE Corey Redding had a good game with 2 sacks.  The Niners ran the ball 44 times for 198 yards (4.5 ypc).  The Niners completed 14 of 21 passes for 117 net yards passing.
